At INChurch Canberra, we value families and recognise that parenting young children is one of life's greatest joys, but it can also be one of its greatest challenges.
We are passionate about creating a supportive community where mums, dads, and carers can find friendship, encouragement, and connection as they navigate this special season of life.
THE DETAILS
WHO: Children aged 0-5 years and parents or carers
WHAT: Join our playgroup to find:
Connection and cuppas for parents and carers
Toys, music, activities, and story time for the little ones
WHEN: 10:00am - 11:30am - Fortnightly on Wednesdays during the school term (beginning 29 July 2026)
COST: Free - Tea & coffee is provided for parents and carers
BRING: A nut-free snack for yourself and your little one
WHERE: at IN Church Canberra - 7/160 Lysaght St, Mitchell
SAFETY & SUPPORT
TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE: We ask that you stay and enjoy the morning alongside your little ones! Also, for your peace of mind, all of our playgroup volunteers hold current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) cards.
IF YOU NEED SUPPORT: If you or your little one is feeling unwell, please rest at home while you recover. We want to support you in every season, so if you find yourself needing a little extra help, we have emergency meals and baby supplies available—no questions asked! Please feel free to reach out; we would love to help in any practical way we can.
JOIN US
We would love to warmly invite you and your little ones to join us at our Next Steps Playgroup! It's a relaxed and welcoming space where children can play, parents can connect, and friendships can grow.
You are also warmly invited to join us for our weekend services. We meet every Sunday at 10am. Whether you've been to church before or not, our hope is that you will feel welcomed, loved, and comfortable among our church family. We would be delighted to meet you and support you as you journey through parenthood.
